2012 Christmas Cantata: Home for Christmas (Dec. 9)

Invite your friends and family to our Christmas Cantata, Home for Christmas, on Sunday evening, December 9th.

This cantata by Ron and Shelly Hamilton is set during the Civil War era. Home for Christmas is the story of Emmanuel McLaw, a young Christian who leaves home to become a drummer boy but promises his mother he’ll be home in time for Christmas. After being injured in battle, Manny’s “homecoming” does not happen quite as he planned. You will be encouraged and blessed!

Maranatha Heritage Singers (Sept 9)

Join on September 9 at 6:00 PM for a time of uplifting music and a challenge from God’s word!

The Heritage Singers are a mixed vocal ensemble that will travel west this summer, encouraging pastors and churches while telling folks about Maranatha Baptist Bible College. The Heritage Singers’ musical repertoire will also include brass music (trumpets, horn, trombone). Nathan Loggans is the team’s preacher/leader. Many members of the 2012 team have also represented Maranatha and the Lord in other traveling groups.
